Instructors

Erin

Erin has been dancing since 6 years old. She has studied ballet, tap, jazz, modern, and lyrical.


Erin also danced under the instruction of Miss Bam as a member of the Anointed Praise Dancers at First Baptist Church of Lincoln Gardens. She now assists with instruction in that ministry.


Miss Erin majored in Dance at Raritan Valley Community College where she was able to further her dance education and her experience by joining the RVCC dance ensemble.


Miss Erin taught ballet, modern, hip hop and our Company Team at BAMSOPA from 2009 thru 2013.  

Nikki

Nikki has trained with Garden State Ballet, Anchorage Civic Ballet, Premiere Dance Theatre and Gallman’s Newark Dance Theater, under the direction of Alfred Gallman, alumnus of the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. 


She was a member of the senior dance company with Work of Art Dance Theater and taught ballet and pointe classes.


Nikki mentored in the dance category for high school aged students for the NAACP-ACT-SO New Brunswick, NJ program and served on the Judah Dance Ministry for her church at Abundant Life Family Worship Church in New Brunswick, NJ.


Nikki currently teaches ballet and pointe classes for BAMSOPA.

Nicole

Nicole has over 20 years of dance experience in many styles of dance including tap, jazz, hip hop, ballet, and pointe.


She attended Rider University where she was in the Rider Dance Ensemble for 4 years and performed and choreographed many dances for various shows.


Nicole has expanded into teaching and teaches pre-pointe and tap for BAMSOPA. 

Amber

Amber is happy to be back working at BAMSOPA!  Amber taught our Creative Movement, Intermediate and Advance Tap class from 2009 - 2013.


Amber has been teaching dance for over 10 years.  She was trained at Ms. Carols School of Dance in the areas of ballet, tap and jazz. 


Amber also danced under the instruction of Miss Bam as a member of the Anointed Praise Dancers at First Baptist Church of Lincoln Gardens. 


Amber has used her dance skills to perform in many performances.  Some include, The McDonald’s Gospel Fest and Dance The World in Disney just to name a few.


Her love of dance and working with children gives her the motivation to continue teaching. She is excited to teach our students the foundations of dance and look forward to seeing them celebrate their own creativeness.

Courtney

Courtney "CJ"  is a New Jersey native trained in commercial hip hop, competitive cheerleading, and lyrical dance styles. She is a former collegiate dancer at North Carolina A&T State University in Greensboro, NC and former cheerleading captain at Franklin High School in Somerset, NJ. 


Live dance credits include background performance for music artists including Fantasia Barrino & Ricco Barrino, Aseelah and Soloh. CJ's theater experience includes professional runs in "Groovin" (2014) at the Barn Dinner Theatre in Greensboro, NC and "Smokey Joes Cafe" (2014) at the Paul Robeson Theatre in Greensboro, NC. CJ has also performed at The Masquerade at Harrah's (2015) in New Orleans, LA and recently earned a spot on the Underground Dance Crew (2017) in New York, NY.
